The idea was to keep these phones plugged in 24*7 & develop an app to send an SMS whenever there is a change in the charging status.

Whenever power goes (unplugged) or comes (plugged) we get an update in our server. We use SMS to not be dependent on internet connectivity.

We got some interesting insights as well. Power goes almost always simultaneously in three blocks. But is restored at different times.

They were sourced from same place, hence power went simultaneously. Restoration required manual intervention at site. So restored separately

Sakawrdai being slightly remote & having a history of insurgency (peaceful this year) could be the reason. Data de-mystifies a lot of things
