Having studied Fashion Design and Fashion business management & worked in UK for almost 4 years my love and passion for India made me return with even stronger motive.
Well, Designers and artisans always go hand in hand as artisans inherit the age old skill and designers bring the artisans and the art live to all the citizens of the country.
Rashi Jain label - (A Sustainable Streetwear brand )It is a women's wear ethical, responsible, and artisanal focus brand that offers trans-seasonal clothing with structured and fluid pieces. The craftsmen and communities are particularly important to the brand in order to preserve Indian heritage and tradition. With the goal of providing livelihood for rural craftsmen who work from home as a team with their families.
The brand is known for use of natural fibers and textiles such as kala cotton, silk, merino wool, and desi wool. Using only natural dyes and traditional techniques such as handloom weaving, embroidery, patchwork, applique, and natural hand painting and printing.
The brand revived the Khareek hand stitch  of Kutch, where artists are struggling to find work because to the declining market for khareek, which is both expensive and time-consuming, with the trade declining. The integration of artisanal legacy and sustainability into today's global world while maintaining traditional values and an awareness of quality. With careful attention to detail, utility, and ease of layering.

-The Collection for SS24 has been designed.
-The fabrics are individually made by the artisans and is a time taking process due to handloom weaving. Hence, they are in process at this stage.

I want to bring a change in the streetwear fashion sector that is eco friendly and reviving the culture and self expression for the people of India.
