Product Designer

As a Product Designer, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. You will be expected to utilize your full range of product design, interaction design, UX design and visual design skills, and you will own the experience for a wide area of the product. This position is full-time and based in Ahmedabad.

You will advise the team on what will create a highly engaging and intuitive user experience and be the voice for how design decisions will impact realization of product vision. Another responsibility is to design and deliver best practice user research, including helping Product Manager frame key questions, create research plans to address those, conduct activities, and synthesize the findings into meaningful, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users.

- Wireframe, prototype, and create hi-fidelity designs.

- Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant

- Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product and executive teams

- Partner with Product Managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch (and then some)

- Crate beautiful and elegant solutions that solve hard problems.

- See your design work through from start to finish: turn insights from user research into ideas, and ship products

- Manage and integrate feedback from stakeholders as your designs evolve

- Advocating for good user experience across our teams and stack-holders

- Like a BFF, you should love us but also be able to tell us what we're doing wrong.

What we are looking for

- Entrepreneurial attitude

- Strong design and typographic skills

- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision and Framer.js

- Experience using data to inform your design decisions

- Business and Product acumen

- Ability to clearly communicate design rationale and conceptual ideas

- Experience working with Product and Engineering Teams

- Able to adapt and learn quickly

- Proven experience is user research

- Strong grasp of designing for cross-platform experiences

- Experience with front-end programming

- Experience in building and shipping applications or software

- Experience designing for mobile (iOS, Android) is a must.

- 2+ years of application design, visual design and interaction design
