If you’re an experienced Manager R&D and you can decipher start up environment, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

You will:

·manage a young and tenacious R&D team - engineers and scientists

-survey literature, participate in algorithm development

·work with a project manager to plan and evaluate research goals

·develop a strategy to execute on those goals

·develop research strategies, write protocols for testing algorithms

·keep the team on track

·solve technical problems

·manage the schedule for all research activity

The finer print:-

● At least 3 years of work experience in managing small engineering / research teams

● A background in engineering - Computer Science / Biomedical

What you are good at:

● A strong understanding of software development

● Prior work experience with managing research oriented teams (not necessary, but is a plus)

● The ability to solve problems - technical or non-technical

● The ability to think both at a high level (abstract) and about the details

● A working knowledge of programming - C/C++, Python etc.

● A process for managing teams and your own productivity

● Good communication skills - verbal and written
