Söoryen Technologies is looking for a Java developer with e-Commerce / Fin Tech experience. We are looking for super stars to work with cutting edge technologies and develop awesome user experiences. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of development experience. This role will include design, code, test, install, document, and maintain a variety of websites. Applicants must have strong working knowledge of the modern web stack – from the presentation tier (HTML/CSS/JS) through web servers, back-end development including database development, and the management of hosting infrastructure (AWS).

Our development stack includes Vagrant, Spring Web MVC, thymeleaf templating, MongoDB, Tomcat server with Spring container, hosted on AWS

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of web development experience

• 2 years of Fin Tech or eCommerce experience

• Excellent coding skill and understanding of distributed systems

• Excellent HTML, CSS, and cross-browser layout skills and knowledge

• Experience of JAVA technology stack

• Experience in developing rich client functionality with good knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery.

• Passion for developing, releasing, and maintaining large-scale web applications.

• Experience in usability/interface design

• Tremendous attention to detail and an ability to build reliable, scalable, and flexible software

• Comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment

• Confidence learning new languages; we love generalists.

• A scrappy, get it done attitude that completes high quality projects and tackles unforeseen challenges

• Experience working with GIT/source control

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant field of study

Responsibilities

• Hands on development

• Custom API development and Integrations

• Create Proof-of-Concepts using new technologies

• Identify new technologies that improve product development and end user experience

• Work with customers on developer new e-Commerce experiences!

• Production support and monitoring of LIVE implementations.
