#JoshTalksIndore posted a question of Facebook - What drives you to be better?  And what better place to immediately write my thoughts ie. on www.echai.in

There is a voice inside me that terrifies me from time to time with one single line, "Am I doing it right?" That's driving me to be better. Like a nagging wife, she surfaces unexpectedly, at odd times and takes control of my thoughts. Makes me shift my mood suddenly from euphoria to self-doubting nobody. She drives me crazy; she's responsible for people giving me strange looks when I look like a dishevelled monster or when I talk like an idiot. But like every wife, she deserves better...that's why I'm driven to do better. And yeah, so what if I'm a woman - everyone needs a "wife". :-)

Every entrepreneur must have a wife - irrespective of whether you're a man or woman. A wife can do amazing things to keep you slogging hard and working crazy so that the more that nagging line of her chases you - the more you work hard to run away from her. (Hahahahaha... got the drift?)

You maybe married to your job, you can't ignore her. Today, every graduate wants to be an entrepreneur. Good that they aren't thinking of being married to their jobs. However, soon they too shall realise that entrepreneurship is no different from a job - former is love marriage, the latter is arranged. :P  So either ways you end up having a "wife" stuck up your shoulder. (Don't complain later that I didn't warn you)

Now you really want that voice to shut up? If you're a true entrepreneur, you can't beat her. She's there for life. On the other hand,  you can always opt for a real marriage and all the responsibility of the imaginary wife can be passed on to the real one (maybe you might get some peace of mind that you're not insane in the delusional category)

Well, what cannot be cured must be endured... so let that thought linger and turn it into positive stroke- Challenge yourself and be assured that if that question keeps coming in your mind - its a sign - you're getting better!

[Note: I'm a real wife myself and I know what headaches we give to men...hahahaha.... but I'm an entrepreneur too so I know what benefit a wife can be too! ;-) ]
