With a kid keeping her on toes she founded Kidditos

Being a mom means being on her toes all the time - yet she finds time with Kidditos. Meet momentrepreneur Viha Pandya, founder of Kidditos.  Viha is an Entrepreneur by passion, an HR by profession, a blogger, a traveler, a dreamer and a Mother. Currently, she is also associated with Khojees Scavenger Hunts as a People Geek.

eChai Ventures interviews Viha who currently resides in Indore City.


Q. What problem are you solving? How does it work?

A. Kidditos-The fluffy Stuff is a brand trying to make the motherhood journey enjoyable and fun for both mother and baby. Our most loved product is Kidditos Cloth diapers which are reusable, washables, chemical free and cute. They are one size fits to all, so light on pockets. Also, eco-friendly.

Q. What is your target market?

A. Currently we are targeting local retailers and communities which have new mothers on board.

Q. What is your competitive advantage?

A. Today, people are more open to new technologies, have exposure to various modes of information and are making informed choices. Also, they are sensitive towards the environment and the landfill garbage disposal diapers and sanitary material is adding every year. So, when we talk about something which serve same purpose without causing any damage to the soft skin of babies by harmful chemicals and mother earth, both, they are very excited to try it.

Q. How much time did it take you from conceptualization of ‘Kidditos' to actually launching it in the market ?

A. Almost 3 months. I tried it on my then 1 month old boy first and loved the concept. But soon I realized how it is so new in our market and moms are still not aware about this wonderful idea of modern cloth diapers, I grabbed the opportunity to introduce it.

Q. Tell us more about your team?

A. Right now I don't have team. I, myself design the products & have outsourced the production. And if you ask about the team, my family members and friends are my team, who constantly give me their ideas, feedback and support when require. My customers are my marketing channel, who spread the good words to keep me going.

Q. What is your technology stack?

A. Our customers can have easy purchase experience through our website or facebook page. Also they can get in touch with us for any kind of pre and post purchase assistance via fb page, whatsapp or call.

Q. How do you plan to market your product? What are your customer acquisition strategies?What is the revenue model of 'Kidditos' ?

A. Being a Mom of 1 year super active boy, it’s kind of difficult to follow any model for marketing. But for me, my regular customers are my best marketing channel. I try to give them best shopping experience and pre/post purchase assistance to satisfy their queries. And what can bring you more business than satisfied customers! :)

Q.What do you want to achieve from this? What is your larger goal or vision?

A. The main idea behind the Kidditos is to make the motherhood more enjoyable and fun.

I would like to see when mothers are choosing Modern cloth diapers over disposable diapers, which can give babies chimerical free childhood and better tomorrow with less landfill.

Also, I have have plans to launch maternity wears for mothers, which are comfortable, stylish and not so expensive. Also, are comfortable for the purpose for breastfeeding.

Q. What sort of support and feedback are you looking from the community?

A. I hope new parents would try kidditos Cloth diapers and share their experience and honest feedback. That would help me to improve and grow.
