On Sunday, 13th September 2015, while the warm winds blew over the city, the hotness quotient at Vatsana Technologies was high. With the turn up of more than 150 people, Indore Startups Community (ISC) put Indore on the attention radar of startups of Madhya Pradesh. Aditi Chaurasia, founder of ISC conceptualized this meetup in association with Indian Angels Network.

The session began with the fitting talk by Vinay Singhal of WittyFeed. He touched upon the core aspects that affect most startups at every stage of their rise.

This was followed by an amazingly simple and easy to understand talk by Mr Dhaval Gupta who is Adesense Specialist. He explained the different nuances of monetizing the business model through different methods, one of it being merger of affiliation network with content subscription and thereby carving a niche market in process.

This set the foundation for interactive dialogue online via two webinars. The participants asked questions to both the speakers and were amply rewarded with satisfying replies from the experienced founders.

The first webinar was held with Mr Pradeep Gupta, cofounder of Indian Angels Network about what to include in pitch. He focused on the ideas which actually paves way for startups to bring forth the best pitch to the investors deck. Participants asked him several questions related to building the baseline for ideas implementation.

The second webinar was held with Mr Satya Narayanan co-founder of Career Launcher. He focussed on how to pitch keeping the investors in mind. What better way to pitch when all the questions related to the investors are known? Satya Narayanan explained how the business plan has to be prepared keeping certain points in mind, what the pitch must cover and how to win the investors with your idea.

The third part of the session was the "Launch Pad". Khushboo, cofounder of FullonShaadi.com gave a pitch in front of the audience. She explained how the idea of the startup was born given the fact that Indian weddings are getting larger than life everyday. She focussed on their services and their future plans giving an interesting pitch to all.

The session ended with an energetic networking session that made everyone realize that the weather had changed outside ushering in a beautiful rain. What a fitting way to cool the hotness quotient!
